A Trip to Binsar Mahadev Temple in Almora | A Sacred Abode of Tranquility and Devotion

Binsar Mahadev Temple in Almora is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located in the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary in Almora district of Uttarakhand, India. The temple is situated amidst lush green forests and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

I went to this place in the month of June. Nearby location is Kasar Devi temple, and I stayed in a Homestay. From Kasar Devi we hired a scooter and reached the Binsar wildlife sanctuary.

On way to Binsar wildlife sanctuary, we visited the temple. Located in a beautiful place and surrounded by the lush green grassland and flowers, this place is wonderful.

Not like any other crowded temple, this place was quiet, and you can spend some time with the nature and yourself.
